Positively Records

Positively Records is a new label venture started by Pete Jonas and Joe Lerner. Based out of Los Angeles, they focus on producing vinyl records of the highest quality for independent artists. Positively Records came to Byse in their infancy, looking for a complete brand identity, digital presence, and e-commerce store.

Positively Records wanted something that looked timeless like many of the original logos of the record label giants of the 1950's and 1960's. Byse used these archival references as a jumping off point to deliver a brand that is both essentially cool and effortlessly timeless.

Positively Records wanted to sell records on the internet, fast. Byse developed a custom Shopify theme that they use to sell records, pre-orders, merchandise, and book new clients. Using Shopify’s tooling, Byse created an e-commerce store that was easily customizable by the Positively Records team with no developer supervision, allowing them to respond quickly to client requests and new product listings.
