Background
Droplette is a skincare system that uses micro-infusion technology to deliver ingredients deep into your skin so that they can be more meaningfully absorbed. Over our year long collaboration, we re-branded, designed new packaging, built a new website, creative directed photoshoots, and provided ongoing creative assets.
Brand Identity
The brand needed to simplify their appearance to position themselves as a proven, premium skincare technology company. We audited all existing brand materials and worked with their team to refreshed the brand’s logo, typefaces, and palette so that the visuals matched the brand’s mission and strategy.
Creative Direction
We directed and cast photoshoots for Droplette campaigns and website. The goal of the shoot below was to simplify the process of using the Droplette system by breaking down each step, highlighting the benefits along the way. Just take a targeted capsule, pop it into the device, get misting, and feel the hydration.
Engaging Packaging
Droplette’s users expressed confusion in determining when and how to use the product. We redesigned the packaging to clearly display benefits, usage, skin sensitivity information, and ingredients using a visual system and iconography. This system is used across both the packaging and site for a consistent experience. While currently sold only online, we designed the packaging with future in-store displays in mind and ensured the products were clear to people who might be unfamiliar with the brand.
For the device, we redesigned the box to make clear what is included, as well as adding an exterior sticker to indicate the device color.
Interactive Homepage
The new Droplette website was built as a custom Shopify theme. On the homepage, we created an entirely custom scroll experience that immediately helps users understand the process of using the Droplette system. As you scroll, a capsule is inserted into the device and it begins to mist. In addition to the visuals, text is displayed to explain benefits and highlight credentialing for the device.
Additionally, we added videos to the homepage to further reinforce the system usage and benefits. On the homepage you can easily shop for product by concern, to make entry to the complex system easy.
“Byse goes beyond the typical programming team, showcasing a deep appreciation and understanding of aesthetics.”

Comprehensive Product Pages and Bundles
We designed the product pages with many reusable modules to highlight key ingredients, benefits, FAQs, specific usage instructions, and more. We translated the visual system from the packaging on to the site.
Because the one-time purchase Droplette device is sold separately from the recurring subscription capsules, customers were becoming confused with purchase flows and often forgetting to checkout with both in their cart. To decrease confusion, we created starter kits targeting specific concerns that contained both the device and an automatic subscription for ease of entry to the Droplette system. We utilized Rebuy Engine’s product bundling to make management of these bundles easy.
Custom Subscription Portal
We also designed and built a custom theme in Recharge for the customer subscription portal to improve the experience for existing customers of editing their subscription and adding new products to their shipping cadence.
